My name is Lisa, and I am the founder and owner of Austin Prenatal Yoga. I have taught thousands of pregnant people over the past 16 years. After the birth of my first daughter in 2008, I was forever changed and inspired to share the gift of yoga with pregnant people. My yoga practice and yoga tools helped me cope with the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and aided in an empowering and positive childbirth experience.
Prenatal yoga is safe for all trimesters of pregnancy. It helps with lower back and hip pain, sciatica, decreases stress, fosters connection with your changing body and baby, prepares you physically and mentally for childbirth, reduces anxiety and depression, and much more! You will also claim your power, intuition, and strength through the powerful and healing benefits of prenatal yoga.
When Lisa is not teaching prenatal yoga, she is working towards her hours to become an LPC, reading fantasy novels, or astrology charts for friends, taking walks in nature, or baking cookies. Lisa has two teenage children and a cat.
